Privacy Policy — Unstuck

Last updated: 17 June 2026

Unstuck (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is an independent music-production tips app. We care about your privacy, and we have built the app so that there is very little to worry about: Unstuck does not collect any personal information, has no accounts, and shows no ads. The only data we collect is anonymous crash and performance diagnostics, used purely to find and fix bugs (details below).

What we collect

No personal information. Unstuck does not ask for your name, email, or any account. There is no sign-up and no login, and we cannot identify you.

The only data we collect is anonymous diagnostics: if the app crashes or runs into a performance problem, a crash report is sent to our error-monitoring provider (Sentry) so we can fix it. These reports include technical details such as the type of error, the device model, and the operating-system version. They are not linked to your identity, are never used for advertising or tracking, and contain no personal information.

Data stored on your device

Everything the app remembers is stored only on your device and never leaves it. This includes:

  • the tips you save, and
  • whether you have seen the first-run tutorial.

This information is held in your device’s local storage. It is not sent to us or to anyone else. If you delete the app, this information is removed with it.

Network and tracking

Unstuck is built to work offline — all tips and features run entirely on your device with no account and no server behind them.

The one exception is a lightweight app-update check: when you open the app, it asks our update service (Expo) whether a newer version of the app’s content is available, and downloads it if so. This check sends no personal information and is not used to track you or build a profile. It is the same kind of update mechanism the App Store itself uses.

The app also sends anonymous crash and performance diagnosticsto Sentry, as described under “What we collect” above. This is used only to fix bugs and improve stability.

Beyond that, the app contains no advertising and uses no behavioural analytics of any kind. We do not profile you, and we do not use cookies, advertising identifiers, or third-party ad trackers.

Sharing tips

When you choose to share a tip, the app creates an image on your device and hands it to your operating system’s standard share sheet. You decide where it goes (Messages, social apps, etc.). Unstuck does not send or receive anything in this process — it simply uses the sharing feature built into your phone.

Children’s privacy

Unstuck does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. The anonymous crash diagnostics described above contain no personal information and are not used to identify or profile any user.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app introduces features that collect data (for example, optional analytics or subscriptions), we will update this policy and the App Store privacy details before that version is released.
